Starting in 1968, AINA has published The Shekel, The Journal of Israel and Jewish History and Numismatics four times a year. Beginning in 2020, AINA has published The Shekel in both digital and (optional) printed versions. Every issue features illustrated articles of interest to collectors and non-collectors alike about ancient Judaean and related coins, Judaic medals from around the world, coins and medals from the Holy Land, Jewish personalities, places and history portrayed on coins and medals, etc.
Members of the American Israel Numismatic Association will receive the digital version of The Shekel magazine as one of their principal benefits, and have the option of also receiving the printed version for an extra cost.
